Rockland Celebrates One Year!

On July 5, 2021, Rockland Ridge officially opened its doors. Last week, we celebrated our first anniversary and took a look back at some of our memories, accomplishments, and growths as a team. We are so proud to celebrate this milestone and look forward to continuing to serve the Belpre community.

We started out with just a few team members and have grown into a solid, strong, and caring team of over 100 employees. We are so proud of each department and the pride they take in their work. Our team members truly care about the quality of service they are delivering, which shows to our residents – creating a Culture of Care that we are proud to share with the Belpre community. We are excited to continue learning how to best serve the area and grow into the best team we can be. We have built this facility, our team, and the camaraderie with the residents and community from the ground up. We are so proud of the foundation and impact we have made. All of the laughs, hard work, dedication, and stressors we’ve overcome have made our team at Rockland as solid as a rock.



Rockland's one-year celebration was a facility-wide affair, with all of our residents and staff in attendance. We enjoyed the delicious food prepared by our incredible kitchen staff. They served pulled pork, smoked macaroni and fresh zucchini. We also had a delicious cake from the Village Cakery for dessert. During the celebration, we raffled off several prizes to our staff as a thank you for all of their hard work and dedication to Rockland Ridge. Amedisys Hospice donated a Bengals-themed prize, Shriver’s Hospice donated a basket filled with household items, the kitchen donated a Viking pot and pan set, and the therapy team created a “Movie Night” themed basket. We also raffled off a coupon for a free Rockland Ridge t-shirt, and four lucky employees won a vacation day!
