Rockland Ridge Voted Number One Facility In The Area By The Marietta Times 2022 Readers Choice Awards!

Rockland Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center just recently celebrated their first year in business and started that first year off making quite an impact in the surrounding communities. Locally, the Marietta Times runs a Reader’s Choice contest where the community votes in a three-phase process for all their local favorites. During the first phase, the nomination phase, Rockland was nominated by the community for the best nursing home in the area. The second phase of the contest allows readers to vote on the nominees to winnow down the lists to the top five in each category. The third phase is the final voting round, where a winner is crowned the Best of the Valley!

The Marietta Times covers the Mid Ohio Valley counties of Washington, Morgan, Noble, Monroe, Meigs and Athens in Ohio, and the neighboring West Virginia counties of Wood, Pleasants, Ritchie, Tyler and Wirt. We are so humbled to have been voted the 2022 Ohio Valley’s Best Nursing Home by the Marietta Times Reader’s Choice! This is an incredible honor and accomplishment to achieve within one year of opening!



Words cannot express how grateful we are to those families and friends who have supported us in our first year’s journey. The relationships we have developed with each person who walks through our doors have been the most rewarding experience. We have loved this journey of growth and becoming a reliable resource to this community. This community is unlike any other – with some of the most hard-working and caring people. The Belpre community goes above and beyond for their neighbor and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Our Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Chelsea Holsinger, who holds her Master's in Business Administration, could not be more proud of her team. She said, “I am so honored and proud that Rockland was awarded the Best Nursing Home in our area. When I was first asked to open this facility, I was so excited about the opportunity to put together a team that all envisioned the same thing as I did – which is to provide the best possible care and truly have the residents’ best interest in the forefront of every decision. I love this team and cannot sing their praises enough. They are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to our mission of providing a ‘Culture of Care.’ I am so thankful to be a part of what we have developed and are continuing to build here in the Mid Ohio Valley.”
