Employee Spotlight: Maria Rummer

Meet Maria Rummer, one of our dedicated STNAs here at Rockland Ridge! Maria has been a valued member of our team since December 14, 2023, bringing over 9 years of experience in long-term care and 4 years in assisted living. She has also worked as a restorative aide for nearly a year and a half, adding to her wealth of knowledge and skills in resident care.



Maria’s favorite part of working in long-term care is knowing that she can bring joy to her residents each day. She shared, “Long-term care can be hard for residents. My favorite part is knowing my residents are happy and smiling while I’m there with them.” She also loves the strong teamwork at Rockland Ridge, where every department works together to ensure the best care for residents.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys taking girls' trips with her closest friends, cheering on her boys in all their sports, and hitting the gym. A fun fact about Maria? She plans to visit all 50 states one day!
