Providing Mammograms to Our Local Women

With a combined effort from the ladies of the Ohio Health Mobile Mammography Clinic, our very own Chef, Jeff Adams, Kim King of Amedisys, and Chandler Myers, NP of Marietta Memorial Health System, our Women's Health Day event was a success! We were able to provide mammograms and lunches to many of our local women. It's so important to us to raise awareness about women's health and provide resources for women to learn more and get the attention they need.



A lot of the community members said they were happy to come to Rockland Ridge rather than wait for an appointment in a typical office setting. The ladies in the clinic said they had a steady flow all day. One of the clinic's attendants called to thank us because our clinicians found a nodule and promptly got her in for further testing. She was so grateful for the kindness shown to her by the clinic and our staff.

Everyone who came in got a meal to go, so caregivers and husbands left with food too. Our Chef made a hot and fresh meal that consisted of BBQ pulled pork, slaw, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, soup beans and bread pudding.
